Celebrating Our Roots on Valentine's Day

Where It Began

I was so happy that my visit to Kenya coincided with Valentine's Day. No better way to celebrate the Love Is Project as a new brand from where it all began!

Many of the mums started 10 years ago with nothing, ostracize by their community because they had special needs children.

Location, Location, Location

I headed out to scout a location for our photoshoot on Friday, the Alchemist Bar (@alchemistbarkenya), which is an artsy event space with gourmet food trucks, a joint venture started by Kenyans and expats four years ago. An indoor & outdoor raw space with fun colored backgrounds and graffiti makes it a perfect set for our Love Is Project campaign.
