This beautiful mala necklace is hand crafted paired with recycled glass and handmade by female artisans in Indonesia. The evil eye mala necklace is the perfect way to bring balance, protection, and spiritual wellness into your life.
Mala beads have been used for centuries in Eastern and South Asian cultures for meditation, prayer, and spiritual protection. The evil eye is believed to protect the wearer from negative energy. Each of the mala beads represent a wish or intention. It’s a reminder to stay centered, grounded and focused on your intention. The mala necklace helps to bring balance and stability to the wearer.
Indonesia's archipelago islands are filled with beauty, culture and history. The first stop in our LOVE adventure is the island of Bali, the mecca of artisanal craftsmanship and design. We've expanded our artisan group to encompass villages in Java. We are happy to bring you this diverse collection from a paradise near and dear to our hearts.
WASTE RECYCLING
Eco-waste recycling project has improved the environmental quality of their villages, and also created jobs for 12 people. Aside from generating more local income, this project motivates for the whole village not litter and to keep it clean.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING
Donated funds ($10,000 USD) from our Claudie Pierlot partnership for a local sustainable farming initiative scholarship in partnership with The Astungkara Way , a project which grew out of Green School's Bali community integration program, Kul Kul Connection .
MASK MAKING - FEEDING PROGRAM
105 Balinese and Javanese locals have been hard at work to create, package, and sew fun-patterned face masks to protect our community from COVID-19. 43,000 FACE MASKS TO BE EXACT.
The artisans have simultaneously thrown pandemic-related support events to give back to their community, organizing food care packages for the surrounding Balinese villages around Canggu.
You're helping us show up and provide more economic opportunities to our partner artisans.

"What the world need more of now...LOVE!" - Chrissie
"Amen." - Mark Cuban
We went on a wild journey and appeared on Shark Tank Because nothing says love like dragging your 70 years old mom out of retirement to help with operations and finances, I brought her on the show too! ;-)
I believe LOVE is passion for what you do. Love Is Project is truly a labor of LOVE. Between my mother, Gladys, and myself, we singlehandedly run this organization full-time. We are the definition of a scrappy, big-hearted start-up always looking to meet the moment and jump in to help where we can. Powered by LOVE and a tribe of collaborators, mentors, friends, and a worldwide support system, Love Is Project exists. ♥
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support!
xo, Chrissie
